Yoga

Melanie has been practicing yoga for 12 years, starting with Iyengar and eventually moving towards vinyasa. Her teaching style draws on the discipline and attention to alignment of the Iyengar tradition, but combines it with a heart-centered focus and gentle flow. Restorative classes are still some of her favourite to teach. Private sessions can be booked for up to 2 students at a time and are held in her home studio. Classes are designed to the students ability level and goals, and are very reasonably priced.

Dreadlock Maintenance

Melanie has been providing dreadlock maintenance services for years, having developed her methods after much experience working on her own dreadlocks . The techniques used are all natural (no chemicals, wax or string), and leave the dreads looking very clean with tight roots. She also teaches her clients what they can do to best maintain their hair in their own time. [photo of my dreads]

Tattoo Illustration

Melanie provides illustration/design services for her clients to develop and finalize their ideas for permanent tattoos. Consultation is free and illustration is charged by the hour.
